The NC Model (Polypropylene) is the most economical
choice for all water-based liquids and slurries. The pump components
assure outstanding resistance to abrasion and feature zero
water absorption. Thus, they are ideal for many applications
in the following industries:
Construction and Mining - dewatering excavations, tunnels,
ore processing, mine tailings, cement grout and plaster, brine
transfer.
Food - liquids and slurries such as mustard, catsup, relish,
jams and jellies.
Ceramics - tile, brick, pottery, china and ceramic slips.
Agricultural Products - grain treatment chemicals, water transfer. |

The BK Model (Polypropylene/Teflon**) is often used in corrosive
environments where the polypropylene materials of construction
provide excellent resistance to inorganic acids and bases,
plating solutions, chemical salts, alcohols and most water-soluble
inorganic chemicals. The BK-5 wetted components are pure polypropylene
and will not absorb dyes or surface colorants and will not
contaminate ultra-pure materials. The BK-10 is structurally
reinforced with glass fibers and may not be suited for all
ultra-pure applications. Some applications are:

The RD Model (Nylon/Teflon) offers superior resistance to
lubricants, power steering fluids, oils, fats (both animal
and vegetable types), hydrocarbons, solvent-based paints, lacquers,
detergents, gasoline, most aldehydes, esters and aromatics.
Nylon is also resistant to ketones and most chlorinated aliphatics.
Nylon will absorb slight amounts of water and dichlorides with
no decrease in physical properties. Typical industries and
applications include:
Chemicals - organic chemicals, petroleum slurries, oil skimming,
tank cleaning. |
