WATCO currently is offering three types of tank
jackets; dimple jackets, conventional double wall
jackets and plate coil for many different process
applications where heating, cooling, mixing and storage
are required. A wide range of jacket design pressures
and jacket design temperatures are available.
Our jackets are constructed to the latest A.S.M.E.
code standards, and where required, are
stamped and registered with the National Board.
All jacketed tanks are completely tested and
examined
by a qualified
inspector.
Where required, all jackets can be insulated
and covered with a stainless steel sheathing
jacket.
Many options are available to meet your
process requirements, open top tanks with
covers,
closed dished heads with
internal pressure or vacuum service.
Our many years of experience in fabricating
jacketed tanks become quite apparent upon
inspection of
the finished product. Engineering and sales
personnel are available to discuss your
specifications or to
review your blue prints.
Several heat transfer mediums can be used
economically and efficiently with our
dimple and conventional
jackets, such as steam, water and glycol.
Stainless steel and carbon steel jackets
are available;
consult factory.
